Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist in achieving budgeted sales and profits.
2. Develop and maintain professional relationships with employees and guests.
3. Implement the Craft Training program for all restaurant hourly employees to improve operations and guest experience.
4. Assist in executing financial, marketing, guest service, and HR objectives as per IHOP SOPs and operations plan.
5. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
6. Participate in recruitment, training, and retention of employees.
7. Maintain adequate supplies and proper operational condition of equipment and premises.
8. Ensure safety, sanitation, and security practices are maintained.
9. Complete required reports and perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise craft employees, including hiring, training, performance appraisal, and addressing employee issues, in accordance with company policies and laws.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 2-4 years related experience or equivalent; ability to speak, read, and write English; basic math skills; ability to apply common sense and deal with problems; valid Driver's License; certification through IHOP training courses.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Requires standing, walking, sitting, handling objects, reaching, stooping, talking, hearing, tasting, smelling, lifting up to 10 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Work environment includes exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving parts, chemicals, and varying temperatures.
