Role Overview

As a Store Manager, you will create a team environment that fosters inclusivity and positive connections. You will be responsible for leading the team to achieve store objectives, including sales, profit goals, recruiting, performance management, training, and development.

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure your store meets company objectives and KPI goals.
• Lead an operationally sound business by balancing policies, procedures, shrink/loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling.
• Recruit, develop, and train top talent focused on sales, customer service, and fashion.
• Set an example for The Torrid Connection and ensure the team provides a shopping experience that encourages positive customer connections and loyalty.
• Implement merchandise strategies while maintaining a clean, inviting store environment that inspires customers to shop.
• Maintain effective communication with the District Manager and HQ partners.

What You’ll Need:

• At least 1-2 years of specialty/apparel retail management experience with proven leadership success.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while creating an exceptional customer experience.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments, challenges, and schedules.
• Fashion awareness and knowledge of current trends.

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):

• Ability to stand and walk during scheduled hours.
• Ability to pack/unpack shipments, move store fixtures, and handle packages up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to reach merchandise using ladders, step stools, or retrieving poles.
