Responsibilities include:
- Provide strong leadership in community, customer service, sales, and team development.
- Ensure store culture embodies Staples values and community commitment.
- Develop a customer-centric environment for small business customers.
- Empower your team through teaching, coaching, and inspiring.
- Lead merchandise sales, print & marketing services, and retail operations.
- Drive profitable sales and margins while reducing variability and improving performance year over year.
- Ensure operational excellence and flawless execution.
- Coach managers and supervisors to foster a culture of consultative selling and total solutions.
- Overall store leadership; additional responsibilities as needed.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- At least 1 year of progressively responsible store management experience in retail as a General/Store Manager.
- Experience in store operations with analysis, planning, financial acumen, and results-driven mindset.
- Experience creating a customer-centric and consultative selling environment.
- Proven ability to develop a team to drive profitable year-over-year sales and margins.
- Physical ability to lift/move materials (10-50 pounds), climb ladders, stand, and walk continuously.
