You’ll make a visible impact as a retail leader and business professional in driving your store's community relationships, merchandise sales, technical services portfolio, print & marketing services, and business-to-business network.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide strong leadership in community, customer service, sales, and team development.
• Ensure store culture embodies Staples values and community commitment.
• Develop a customer-centric environment for small business customers.
• Empower your team through teaching, coaching, and inspiring.
• Lead merchandise sales, print & marketing services, and retail operations.
• Drive profitable sales and margins while reducing variability and improving performance year over year.
• Ensure operational excellence and flawless execution.
• Coach managers and supervisors to foster a culture of consultative selling and total solutions.
• Overall store leadership; additional responsibilities as needed.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• At least 1 year of progressively responsible store management experience in retail as a General/Store Manager.
• Experience in store operations with analysis, planning, financial acumen, and results-driven mindset.
• Experience creating a customer-centric and consultative selling environment.
• Proven ability to develop a team to drive profitable year-over-year sales and margins.
• Physical ability to lift/move materials (10-50 pounds), climb ladders, stand, and walk continuously.
