Store Managers at Dollar Tree are responsible for:

1. Managing the profitable operation of a retail store with emphasis on recruiting, hiring, training, and developing store associates in both operations and merchandising.
2. Performing all opening and closing procedures.
3. Implementing operational and merchandising directions from the Store Support Center.
4. Maintaining high standards of merchandising, placement, store signage, and display techniques to create an inviting atmosphere for customers.
5. Assisting in maximizing your store's profit contribution.
6. Protecting all company assets.
7. Maintaining excellent customer service.
8. Problem solving in areas such as associate development, sales maximization, expense control, merchandise display, and signage placement.

Qualifications we need from you:

1. Minimum 3 years of retail management experience.
2. Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience is a plus.
3. Strong ability in freight processing productivity management.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
5. Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment.
