Job summary

Batteries Plus- Central Georgia seeks an experienced Store Manager to lead a new Macon location. The role drives sales, supports operational excellence, and delivers outstanding customer service.

You will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and coordinate with the commercial sales team to achieve business goals. The position requires flexibility to work across locations with up to 15% local travel, a high school diploma, 3+ years of retail management, and strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• 3+ years of retail management and supervisory experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting procedures and financial statements.
• Basic knowledge of electronics, including the ability to read gauges and work with hands.
• Ability to effectively manage confrontation in a controlled and courteous manner.
• Ability to calculate simple math, percentages, and ratios.
• Forklift certification (if not already).
• Ability to work at multiple store locations and travel locally up to 15% of the time.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift more.
• Degree in business or retail management (preferred).
• Commercial (outside) sales experience (preferred).

Batteries Plus is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Store Manager to lead our new location in Macon, GA.

STORE MANAGER: PAY & PERKS

This full-time leadership opportunity offers $45,000 - $60,000 annually and 2 weeks of paid time off per year. We are looking for a proven retail professional who can contribute to our strong team culture while driving sales performance, supporting operational excellence, and delivering exceptional customer service.

ARE YOU A GOOD FIT FOR THIS JOB?

This is a full-time position with a schedule based on the needs of the business. The successful candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule, including during peak seasons and special events. The Store Manager must also be willing to work at multiple store locations and travel locally up to 15% of the time. As a Store Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the store while maintaining a customer-focused environment. You will implement retail and in-store selling programs, establish and monitor sales goals, and work closely with the commercial sales team to support business objectives. Your responsibilities will include supporting order processing and customer service activities, ensuring compliance with merchandising, inventory, and safety standards, and managing controllable expenses to help achieve financial goals. You will supervise assistant managers, schedule staff according to business needs, and provide ongoing coaching, recognition, and performance evaluations. In addition, you will recruit and develop team members who contribute positively to the culture and success of the store.
