Job summary

Staples is seeking a General Manager to lead a store with a collaborative, customer-focused culture. You will oversee sales, services, and community relationships while guiding a team toward profitable, high‑quality execution.

You’ll drive merchandising and services profitably, coach staff, and uphold Staples values in a dynamic retail environment in Lexington, KY. This role emphasizes leadership, customer centricity, and community engagement.

• 1+ year progressively responsible store management experience in a retail environment.
• Experience in store operations with analysis, planning, and financial awareness.

Essential Skills And Experience

• 1+ year progressively responsible store management experience in a retail environment as a General/Store Manager
• Store Operations experience with analysis, planning, financial acumen and driving results
• Experience creating a customer centric environment and working in a consultative selling environment that provides customers a total solution
• Experience developing a team in operational excellence to drive profitable YOY sales and margins
• Ability to lift/move materials in the 10-50 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously
