Job summary

Staples is seeking a General Manager to lead a store with a collaborative, inclusive culture. You will oversee operations, drive merchandise sales, print and marketing services, and develop relationships with the local business community while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will coach and develop the team, ensure flawless execution of store operations, manage profitability, and model Staples values.

Qualifications

• 1+ year progressively responsible store management experience in retail.
• Store Operations with analysis, planning, and driving results.
• Customer-centric environment with consultative selling.
• Experience developing a team to drive profitable YOY sales and margins.
• Ability to lift/move materials 10–50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

Essential Skills And Experience

• 1+ year progressively responsible store management experience in a retail environment as a General/Store Manager
• Store Operations experience with analysis, planning, financial acumen and driving results
• Experience creating a customer centric environment and working in a consultative selling environment that provides customers a total solution
• Experience developing a team in operational excellence to drive profitable YOY sales and margins
• Ability to lift/move materials in the 10-50 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously

Preferred Skills And Experience
