Job summary

Murphy USA Store Manager in Keller, TX is seeking a dynamic leader to run a busy convenience store and deliver a best-in-class customer experience while managing all facets of the operation. You will coach your team, optimize store performance, control costs, and drive sales through promotions and excellent service.

You will hire, train and mentor staff, schedule shifts, oversee inventory, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age (state-specific age requirements: 18+ generally; 19+ in Indiana; 20+ in Kentucky; 21+ in listed states).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Bachelor's Degree or 1 year store/retail management experience or 2 years as Assistant Store Manager/Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train and develop your team to grow with us, coaching them toward success and development.
• Maintain proactive operational excellence to efficiently manage expenses, drive sales growth, promotions, product orders and inventory, schedule shifts, and exceed metrics.
• Support rollouts of company initiatives and achieve store-level and district goals.
• Provide best-in-class customer service when assisting customers and addressing inquiries.
• Handle stocking, cleaning, cash register duties, and other duties as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our store managers are the backbone of our teams and keep us united. While leading your team to greatness, you’ll have the autonomy to run your own small business by:

• Hiring, training and developing your team to grow with us‚ assume the role of a coach and mentor to your team, guiding them toward success and development
• Maintaining a proactive operational excellence mindset to efficiently manage operation expenses, drive sales growth and promotional activities, manage product orders and inventory, schedule shifts, conduct surveys and continuously strive to exceed company metrics
• Supporting rollouts of company initiatives and reaching store-level and district goals
• Helping your team by demonstrating best-in-class customer service when assisting customers
• Stocking, cleaning, working the cash register and any other additional duties, as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 18+ years of age, 19 in Indiana, 20 in Kentucky and 21 in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Utah
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must have at least ONE of the following:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • One year of continuous store or retail management experience
  • Two years of continuous Assistant Store Manager or Supervisor experience
