GENERAL FUNCTION

The Store Manager is a leader on the sales floor, performing all store functions and guiding the team. Coaches, develops, and inspires the team to serve as ambassadors for Sunglass Hut. Creates an environment where everyone delivers excellent service through The Sunglass Hut Experience. The leadership, energy, and quick decision-making of the Store Manager motivate every team member to deliver this experience, which translates into sales.

Major Duties And Responsibilities
  • Utilizes The Sunglass Hut Experience tools to meet sales and company objectives.
  • Develops the store’s strategic plan to achieve financial results.
  • Drives sales by identifying opportunities to meet goals.
  • Leads by example, coaching and inspiring the team to enhance performance.
  • Fosters a development-focused environment to grow careers and retain talent.
  • Networks, recruits, hires, and trains staff using onboarding tools.
  • Inspires team growth through individual development plans.
  • Creates an inspiring work environment reflecting brand integrity.
  • Builds emotional connections within the team to enhance sales and service.
  • Spends most of the time on the sales floor.
  • Coaches and develops the team for retail excellence.
  • Builds customer relationships through interaction and feedback.
  • Acts as an ambassador for the brand.
  • Executes brand standards consistently.
  • Stays current on product and fashion trends.
  • Motivates and coaches team members as brand ambassadors.
  • Ensures operational policies and procedures are followed and standards maintained.
  • Communicates promotions, contests, and incentives effectively.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Expertise in store operations
  • Detail-oriented
  • Critical thinking skills for operational execution
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer service and retail experience
