Job Overview
Responsible for all aspects of the Stores' operations. Leads the entire operation of the Store to ensure that Company standards and best practices are consistently met. Staffs, trains, and develops leadership team to deliver the desired sales and profit results, while maintaining a friendly, easy-to-shop environment. Recruits, trains, and develops Associates. Manages the operations of the Stockroom, Front End, and Sales Floor to ensure timely merchandise flow, proper receipt, and expense management through best practices and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- General Operating Requirements: Lead productivity, analyze reports, address variances, schedule staff, and manage payroll.
- Organizational Development: Recruit, hire, train, develop staff, address personnel issues, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Expense Control: Keep expenditures within budget, control payroll hours.
- Safety & Security: Maintain safety policies, ensure emergency procedures are understood.
- Customer Service: Ensure courteous and professional service, execute customer service programs.
- Brand Representation: Maintain a professional appearance, a clean store environment, and support the company brand.
- Merchandise & Marketing: Oversee merchandise processing, presentation, and in-store marketing.
- Loss Prevention: Train staff on loss prevention, safeguard assets, lead inventory processes.
- Competencies: Manage work processes, demonstrate business acumen, build talent, communicate effectively, and ensure accountability.
Qualifications
- At least five years of retail store management experience.
- High level of customer service skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with staff.
- Organizational and prioritization skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Physical & Other Requirements
- Ability to operate store equipment.
- Stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks as required.
- Use of janitorial and store equipment.
- Basic math skills.
