Extra Space Storage in Houston is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily operations at one or more locations. You will lead customer relationships, drive unit rentals and protect assets, while ensuring facility cleanliness and safety.

The role requires 2+ years of customer-facing experience, leadership skills, and a high school diploma or GED; college education is a plus. Day shifts with possible Sundays off depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by identifying storage needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Maximize sales objectives through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies.
• Ensure our highest standards of cleanliness are met through continuous maintenance of the site, including office and building interiors/exteriors.
• Perform daily site safety inspections, including lock checks.
• Address and resolve customer concerns related to billing, security, auctions, and proper site usage.
• Handle cash transactions, balance receipts, follow up on delinquent payments, process customer payments, and complete daily bank deposits.
• Oversee routine administrative tasks, including auction files, delinquent accounts, budgets, and bank deposits.
• Protect our strong company culture by maintaining professional relationships with all Extra Space employees.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

This role ensures the facility meets high cleanliness standards, maintains financial accuracy through effective reporting and controls, and consistently delivers operational excellence.
