Store Manager: Vitality Bowls, Dunwoody, GA

Job Description:

• Hire, train, evaluate employees, and manage entire staff
• Manage inventory and place orders to vendors
• Send out updates to employees and owners on a regular basis
• Hold bimonthly meetings for shift leaders, assistant managers, and owners for their respective store
• Collect new‑hire paperwork and ensure all employees understand policies and procedures from the new‐hire paperwork and the employee manual
• Maintain a training checklist for new employees, and communicate with shift leaders about their skills, strengths, and weaknesses
• Train shift leaders and assistant managers in their new duties
• Establish lines of communication with customers, shift leaders, and all employees
• Write up employees as needed, planning corrective actions, including recommendations regarding termination
• Restock the register nightly for correct change
• Take deposits to the bank several times a week and retain an accurate count of petty cash
• Lead the team ensuring food is accurate and delivered timely
• Demonstrate exemplary job knowledge and superb customer service
• Handle upset customers and food issues politely, ensuring satisfaction
• Accept deliveries, confirming completeness and correctness, or issuing refunds
• Communicate with owners regarding inventory status; arrival timing, completeness, and low items
• Communicate with owners regarding employees’ strengths, weaknesses, dependability, customer service, etc.
