Job summary

The Bowerman Group seeks a Store Manager to lead a new luxury retail location in Dallas–University Park. You will oversee store performance, client relationships, trade partnerships, and daily operations while preparing the opening.

You will recruit and coach the team, drive sales to high-net-worth clients and interior designers, and ensure exceptional presentation, inventory control, and service in a fast-paced luxury setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail management experience, preferably luxury retail, home furnishings, textiles, linens, or related category.
• Demonstrated success leading sales teams, developing client relationships, and achieving sales goals.
• Strong business-development and relationship-building skills; experience with trade professionals and high-net-worth clientele.

Our client, a growing luxury home and lifestyle company, is seeking a Store Manager to lead a new Dallas retail location. The Store Manager will oversee store performance, team development, client relationships, trade partnerships, and day-to-day operations while helping prepare the location for its planned opening.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Sales & Client Development: Drive store sales and profitability, maintain an active client book, develop relationships with high-net-worth clientele, and build business with interior designers, architects, decorators, developers, and other trade professionals.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, coach, and develop the store team; establish performance expectations; provide ongoing sales coaching; and lead by example on the selling floor.
• Store Operations: Oversee daily operations, inventory controls, visual merchandising, store presentation, expense management, forecasting, reporting, and execution of company initiatives.

Skills Required:

• 5+ years of retail management experience, preferably within luxury retail, home furnishings, textiles, linens, or a related category.
• Demonstrated success leading sales teams, developing client relationships, and achieving sales goals.
• Strong business-development and relationship-building skills; experience working with trade professionals and high-net-worth clientele is particularly relevant.

The company owns established luxury home brands specializing in fine linens, home textiles, and related lifestyle products. Its customers include individual consumers as well as interior designers and other trade professionals.

This position will lead a new retail location in the Dallas/University Park area. The Store Manager is expected to be active in the Dallas market through networking, client outreach, events, community engagement, and relationship development with the local design and trade community.

Leadership & Culture:

• Reports to: Sr. Retail Director of Retail
• This is a hands-on leadership role combining store management with direct client engagement and business development.
• The Store Manager will play an important role in recruiting and developing the opening team.
• The company is seeking a senior retail leader who can support associates during the selling process, help close client business, and establish relationships within the Dallas market.
• Experience in luxury home, furnishings, bedding, textiles, or a related design-oriented category is preferred. An existing network within the Dallas interior design and trade community is also preferred.

• Base Salary: Starting at $100,000 annually
