Description

We are looking for full-time Store Managers who are enthusiastic, energetic, friendly, and hard-working!

The Store Manager is responsible for providing and training staff on exemplary selling and customer service. They aim to improve store productivity and profitability while ensuring the best customer experience. Responsibilities include product recommendations, issue resolution, and serving as a role model for retail best practices. The focus is on sales, service, and relationship-building. The Store Manager leads by sharing product knowledge, managing store communications, and executing tasks assigned by the District Manager, including ensuring the store operates during all posted hours.

Additionally, the Store Manager manages inventory procedures, conducts product sets, stocks products, maintains housekeeping, and ensures stockroom duties are completed. They work closely with the Director of Retail and are responsible for understanding and executing the organization’s Business Insight Cycle.

Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to:

  1. Building a motivated, customer-focused team through effective management, training, and coaching.
  2. Leading, influencing, and developing strong relationships with customers, store staff, corporate, and vendor partners.
  3. Communicating authentically and effectively with others.
  4. Acting as a visual merchandiser to translate the brand naturally and organically.
  5. Being proficient with point of sale systems, handheld devices, and Windows OS.
  6. Thriving in an evolving environment, inspiring learning and innovation.
  7. Meeting and exceeding sales and retail metrics.
  8. Managing daily store operations and special projects.
  9. Executing in-store events and community engagement.
  10. Upholding all company policies and practices.
  11. Performing other duties or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year retail management experience, including sales and customer service.
  • Must be 18 or older.
  • Availability to close the store at least once a week and work at least four weekend shifts per month.
  • Flexible schedule to meet business needs, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
  • Proof of legal eligibility to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two or more years in retail management, preferably in specialty retail.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and customer engagement skills.
  • Effective communication, adaptability, and responsiveness.
  • Proficiency with computers and technology.
  • Ability to train new employees and understand policies and operational changes.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

  • Standing, walking, lifting up to 40-50 pounds, and using fine motor skills regularly.
  • Occasional work at heights, driving, and exposure to various environmental conditions.
  • Continuous communication with customers and staff, including speaking and hearing.

Employment Status:

This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position requiring at least 40 hours per week.
