As a Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing all store operations to maximize sales results while embodying “Our Burlington” values. You will mentor, role model, and coach your team, ensuring excellent customer service and a world-class shopping experience. You will own the execution of merchandising, operations, and service management tasks, and be ultimately responsible for your store's success and your team’s performance.

Responsibilities

1. Manage Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure adherence to company policies, standards, and initiatives.
2. Ensure team members fulfill their responsibilities.
3. Partner with Assistant Store Manager, Merchandising for merchandise placement, promotions, and pricing.
4. Collaborate with Assistant Store Manager, Operations on inventory management, including receiving, transfers, and RTVs.
5. Manage a multi-million dollar sales volume and expense budget, including reporting and record-keeping.
6. Recruit, screen, and hire associates to meet staffing needs.
7. Oversee onboarding, training, coaching, and development of team members.
8. Handle personnel and associate relations issues.
9. Manage payroll, workforce scheduling, and budgeting.
10. Facilitate communication between store teams, regional management, and other partners.
11. Perform other tasks as necessary.

Candidates must have 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment and be flexible with work hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Familiarity with computerized scheduling and reporting software is required. Travel may be needed occasionally.
