Job summary

TrailersPlus in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a driven Store Manager to lead our team at the Chattanooga lot. You will focus on sales, coaching, and hands-on operations, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient shop floor management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 6–12 months of related retail management or supervisory experience.
• Ability to operate a forklift and willingness to learn power tools, tractors, and welding tools.
• Proven track record in closing sales, handling customer service, and diffusing high‑pressure situations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and basic computer/math skills (calculating commissions, percentages, basic algebra).
• Ability to obtain state and city vehicle sales licenses.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a major plus!

Responsibilities

• Drive Revenue: Lead the sales effort by matching customers with the right trailers, parts, and service options to hit store goals.
• Team Leadership: Hire, train, motivate, and mentor staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Lead Generation: Actively build local market presence and generate local leads.
• Store Operations & Administration: Oversee daily operations across sales, service, inventory, and vendor relations.
• Finance & Invoicing: Reconcile daily financial transactions and handle accurate customer invoicing and state title paperwork.
• Staff Scheduling: Manage staff schedules, timecards, and routine operational reporting.
• Facility & Lot Management: Maintain lot safety, security, and cleanliness; operate shop equipment as needed.
