Job summary

Total Wine & More in Cary, NC is seeking a Store Manager to drive sales, lead store operations, and grow the brand through exceptional service. You will recruit and develop a sales-focused team, manage payroll and inventory, and ensure compliance with alcohol laws.

A strong leader with retail experience will optimize profitability and customer experience. You will report to the District Manager, work a flexible schedule including evenings/weekends, and partner with vendors to achieve store

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 4-6 years of work experience with 5+ years in a managerial or supervisory role in retail.
• Experience leading and motivating a sales-focused team; big box experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and achieve key performance metrics (KPMs).
• Recruit, train, and manage store team including development and disciplinary actions.
• Oversee daily operations: payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain vendor relationships and ensure compliance with alcohol laws.

About the roleAs Store Manager, you will grow the company brand by delivering best-in-class service and bringing to life a distinctive world of adult beverages and more for our customers. You will manage store operations and create a sales and service culture to expand our customer base and maximize profitability.
