Job description

Purpose of Position: Direct the day-to-day operation of an assigned Par Mar Store to exceed Company Goals and Expectations of Total Quality Service to Guests. Maintain the store in alignment with Par Mar Stores Image Standards. The Store Manager provides support and guidance to employees to ensure excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include:

• Availability for emergencies, customer concerns, and incidents; flexible to work evenings or weekends during training.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance for company-related driving.
• Enforce safety measures, document incidents, and ensure a safe environment.
• Greet and serve Guests courteously, aiming for high satisfaction and quick resolution of complaints.
• Uphold Store Image and Professionalism, including dress code and store appearance standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store exterior and interior daily.
• Train and develop employees, set performance goals, and promote career growth.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and regulations regarding sale of tobacco, alcohol, lottery, and health standards.
• Control loss prevention, inventory, and handle company assets responsibly.
• Support store promotions and community involvement.
• Oversee food service operations, inventory, and compliance with health regulations.
• Properly receive merchandise and follow vendor procedures to protect assets.

Requirements include physical and mental functions:

• Stand for 8-10 hours, lift up to 50 pounds, work in cold environments, climb ladders, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
• Corrected vision and hearing, alertness to hazards, and ability to react to emergencies.
• No impairment from drugs or alcohol, and maintain composure in stressful situations.
