Managers In Training will learn how to manage daily store responsibilities, working with training managers and supervisors across various shifts, supporting the store team, and delivering excellent guest experiences. The training includes working alongside experienced managers, gaining insights into our operations, vendors, and customer service standards. After training, Managers In Training join our leadership bench, filling in during absences and eventually managing their own store.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service with a warm greeting and smile
  • Assist in building and developing a strong store team through training, scheduling, and coaching
  • Monitor product levels, rotate stock, and ensure in-stock availability
  • Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety, especially in locations with hot food
  • Maintain store cleanliness and appearance, including coffee stations, food areas, and restrooms
  • Operate cash registers efficiently
  • Support food service operations and perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Education & Experience
  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of retail or food service experience
  • Preferred: 1 year in a leadership role
  • ServSafe/Food Safety certification is a plus but not mandatory

  • Excellent communication and guest interaction skills
  • High energy and ability to multitask
  • Team-oriented and willing to help others
  • Basic computer skills helpful
Additional Details
  • Full-time position, working varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Scheduled 40 hours/week with overtime as needed
  • Must have own vehicle for deposits (if applicable)
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Uniform attire provided
