**Job Purpose:**
The Store Manager is responsible for managing the entire store operation, ensuring a clean, friendly, and in-stock experience for customers. The SM leads the store management team to meet Coen objectives, initiatives, and profit goals. Responsibilities include maximizing profitability, managing expenses, optimizing revenue streams, and developing a high-performing team. The SM also ensures customer and team satisfaction, enforces brand standards, and grows profitability.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions
  1. Deliver a clean, friendly, and in-stock experience to every customer daily.
  2. Monitor financial performance trends to achieve store profitability and ensure plan execution.
  3. Manage inventory effectively, minimize waste, communicate vendor issues, and manage cash procedures.
  4. Analyze audit results and address issues promptly.
  5. Foster a learning environment for team development.
  6. Maintain safety, service, and operational standards, ensuring compliance with policies and laws.
  7. Lead change initiatives and educate staff on their importance.
  8. Ensure a positive shopping experience, resolve customer complaints, and gather feedback for improvement.
  9. Staff the store appropriately, participate in hiring, and manage scheduling and labor hours.
  10. Oversee training, performance appraisals, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
  11. Create a respectful, professional work environment.
  12. Ensure employee compliance with company policies.
  13. Handle staffing decisions, labor reporting, and serve as liaison with corporate offices.
  14. Provide ongoing training and support to staff.
  15. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards, report incidents, and ensure proper dress code adherence.
  16. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Audits and Compliance
  1. Control assets and conduct cash audits.
  2. Review financial statements and work with management to improve results.
  3. Implement loss prevention strategies.
  4. Complete required reports timely.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience, preferably in retail or convenience stores.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Commit to mastering store operations, including food service.
  • Proficient with store computer applications.
  • Strong financial understanding of retail.
  • Excellent customer service and leadership skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Availability for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Willingness to work at different locations as needed.
  • Pass pre-employment tests, including drug screening and background checks.
Licensure/Certification

Valid State Driver's License, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation.
