Store Managers at Dollar Tree are responsible for:

1. Managing the profitable operation of a retail store with emphasis on recruiting, hiring, training, and developing store associates in operations and merchandising.
2. Performing all opening and closing procedures.
3. Implementing all operational and merchandising directions from the Store Support Center.
4. Maintaining high standards of merchandising, placement, store signage, and display techniques to create an inviting atmosphere for customers.
5. Assisting in maximizing your store's profit contribution.
6. Protecting all company assets.
7. Maintaining excellent customer service.
8. Creative problem solving in areas such as:

• Associate Development
• Maximizing Sales Potential
• Controlling Expenses and Shrink
• Merchandise Display
• Store Signage Placement

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of retail management experience.
• Experience dealing with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience is a plus.
• Strong productivity management skills in freight processing.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
