Responsibilities:

• Manage the profitable operation of a retail store, focusing on recruiting, hiring, training, and developing store associates in operations and merchandising.
• Perform all opening and closing procedures.
• Implement operational and merchandising directives from the Store Support Center.
• Maintain high standards of merchandising, store signage, and display techniques to create an inviting atmosphere.
• Assist in maximizing your store's profit contribution.
• Protect all company assets.
• Maintain high levels of customer service.
• Engage in creative problem solving in areas such as associate development, sales maximization, expense control, merchandise display, and signage placement.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of retail management experience.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience is a plus.
• Strong productivity management skills, especially in freight processing.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment.
