Job summary

Capital Pawn is seeking a Store Management Trainee in Pearl, MS to learn day-to-day store operations and leadership skills. You’ll work with store leadership to gain hands-on management experience across customer service, inventory, merchandising, and performance optimization.

Earn $15.00-$20.00 per hour plus commission up to 8% and performance bonuses. The role includes flexible hours, earned wage access, and benefits.

Qualifications

18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
Strong leadership, coaching and team development skills.
Basic math and computer skills; experience with retail POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a customer-focused environment.
Learn and support all daily store operations.
Assist with coaching, training, and developing team members.
Support recruiting and talent development efforts.
Open and close the store following asset protection and cash handling procedures.
Assist with inventory management, merchandising and store presentation.
Help drive store performance by supporting sales and profitability goals.
Learn to analyze business results and support operational decisions.
Monitor loans and buying transactions for accuracy and compliance.
Build product knowledge across merchandise categories.
