Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager Trainee in a fast-paced retail setting, with a minimum of six months of store management exposure. You will help lead daily operations, develop staff, and drive customer satisfaction while aligning with FirstCash standards.

You will partner with the Store Manager, manage assets, and participate in hiring and training, with pay that includes hourly base plus commission and bonus based on store performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Store Manager Trainee will work 45+ hours a week.
• Cash handling experience is required.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers so their development meets the prescribed FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels.
• Opens and closes the store, including cash drawer counting and asset protection procedures.
• Ensures asset protection through inventory control and loan management.
• Administer store processes including inventory, merchandising, and reporting.
• Evaluate store financial statements and drive profitability through goal-setting.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure value and integrity of loans issued.
• Communicate clearly with employees about mission and objectives.
• Remain up-to-date on product knowledge.
• The Assistant Store Manager acts as manager on duty in absence of Store Manager.
