Job summary

Circle K Stores Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to perform general and preventative maintenance on building and store equipment across assigned locations.

Responsibilities include light carpentry, minor electrical work, flooring, restroom repairs, signage, doors, locks, and related tasks to keep stores looking and operating smoothly. The role involves occasional overnight travel to support projects, with expectations to communicate clearly with staff and vendors, and to use MS Office

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Strong knowledge of general construction and building maintenance.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload without direct supervision.
• Team player with a professional demeanor.
• Knowledge of HVAC, Refrigeration, and convenience store equipment; certification not required.
• Knowledge/experience repairing restaurant equipment preferred.
• Ability to travel long distances for extended periods including overnight stays.
• Ability to operate a smartphone, respond to emails and share photos.
• Computer literacy: MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and preventative maintenance on building and convenience-store equipment.
• Light carpentry, minor electrical repairs, floor repairs, restroom repairs, signage, doors, locks, etc.
• Pressure washing, painting, and other work on store assets to maintain image standards.
• Participate in field visits/meetings and communicate with customers.
• Travel occasionally for special projects; work with management to meet targets.
• Continually develop professional knowledge through workshops and reading.
