Job summary

Belk is seeking a Maintenance and Housekeeping Associate to sustain a clean, safe, and inviting store environment. This hourly role includes daily cleaning, basic maintenance tasks, and replenishing supplies to support store operations.

You will dust, vacuum, sanitize restrooms, replace lights, and assist customers and teammates while upholding high hygiene standards. A flexible schedule and ability to lift up to 40 lbs are required, with comfort using technology.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership in achieving personal goals, store objectives, and daily priorities.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout all store areas by dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces.
• Clean restrooms and breakroom, sanitize surfaces, and restock essentials.
• Replenish supplies at registers and organize cleaning/maintenance items for efficiency.
• Identify and resolve hazards to support store safety.
• Replace interior and exterior lights to keep a well-lit environment.
• Learn processes and policies to improve execution and performance.
• Build positive culture by sharing knowledge and celebrating achievements.
• Assist customers and teammates to enhance in-store experience during peak times.
• Follow asset protection, safety guidelines, and security protocols.
