Job summary

Town Pump Company is seeking a Store Maintenance Member to provide customer service, perform mechanical operations, repairs, and upkeep inside and outside the store. You will also assist store cashiers when possible to ensure smooth operations.

You will repair, grease, test fuel pumps and related equipment, maintain HVAC and electrical systems, and handle building upkeep including landscaping and snow removal.

Qualifications

• Customer service and teamwork are essential.
• Basic mechanical operation and repairs knowledge.
• Ability to perform housekeeping inside and outside the store.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fuel pumps and related equipment, including refrigeration and HVAC where applicable.
• Clean, paint, and upkeep buildings, sidewalks, fuel islands, and landscape areas; handle trash and snow removal.
• Perform safety procedures and use PPE during repairs and handling of tools.

Town Pump is looking for a motivated and outgoing Store Maintenance member to join our team. Town Pump is a growing company, with ever increasing opportunities for career growth.

As a Store Maintenance Member, You Will

• be responsible for customer service, mechanical operation, repairs, housekeeping inside and outside the store, store security, and assisting store cashiers whenever possible.


• repair, grease, clean, and test fuel pumps, and associated equipment including refrigeration, HVAC systems, and control systems. Practice safe procedures in repairs and tool handling while wearing protective clothing and other necessary personal protective equipment.


• clean and paint buildings, sidewalks, fuel islands, etc. and handle building and property upkeep to include landscaping and trash and snow removal. You are exposed to cold and other outdoor weather conditions.


• maintain use or repair books, safety manuals, duty logs, pump inspections, and electrical schematics, and maintain lights to included lamp and ballast replacement.


• commit to keep the store running and come in as needed, interact with the public providing exceptional customer service.


• assist clerks or managers as needed.
