Job summary

Town Pump is seeking a motivated Store Maintenance team member to help keep our location running smoothly and safely. The role covers customer service, repair work on pumps and equipment, and outdoor property upkeep.

You will be responsible for interior and exterior maintenance, building upkeep, and assisting cashiers when needed. Town Pump offers competitive benefits and opportunities for growth within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Customer service and basic mechanical operation experience.
• Ability to repair fuel pumps and related equipment.
• Willingness to perform outdoor upkeep and building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist store cashiers when possible.
• Repair, grease, clean, and test fuel pumps and related equipment.
• Perform housekeeping inside and outside the store; maintain cleanliness of sidewalks and fuel islands.
• Maintain safety manuals, pump inspections, and electrical schematics; replace lamps and ballasts.
• Perform building and property upkeep, landscaping, trash and snow removal.
• Be available to come in as needed and interact with the public.

Job description

Town Pump is looking for a motivated and outgoing Store Maintenance member to join our team. Town Pump is a growing company, with ever increasing opportunities for career growth.

As a Store Maintenance Member, You Will

• be responsible for customer service, mechanical operation, repairs, housekeeping inside and outside the store, store security, and assisting store cashiers whenever possible.
• repair, grease, clean, and test fuel pumps, and associated equipment including refrigeration, HVAC systems, and control systems. Practice safe procedures in repairs and tool handling while wearing protective clothing and other necessary personal protective equipment.
• clean and paint buildings, sidewalks, fuel islands, etc. and handle building and property upkeep to include landscaping and trash and snow removal. You are exposed to cold and other outdoor weather conditions.
• maintain use or repair books, safety manuals, duty logs, pump inspections, and electrical schematics, and maintain lights to included lamp and ballast replacement.
• commit to keep the store running and come in as needed, interact with the public providing exceptional customer service.
• assist clerks or managers as needed.
