Job summary

Town Pump Company seeks a Store Maintenance Member to support customer service and maintain store operations. You will perform mechanical repairs, pumps testing, and building upkeep on site, with responsibility for safety and equipment care.

Responsibilities include assisting cashiers, safeguarding premises, and ensuring a clean, operational environment in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and teamwork.
• Basic mechanical operation and repairs aptitude.
• Familiarity with equipment testing and safety.
• Ability to perform housekeeping and property upkeep.
• Awareness of store security practices.
• Comfort assisting cashiers and front-counter staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service, perform mechanical operations and repairs, upkeep inside and outside the store, assist cashiers.
• Repair, grease, clean, and test fuel pumps and equipment including refrigeration, HVAC, and controls with safety gear.
• Clean and paint buildings, sidewalks, fuel islands; handle landscaping, trash and snow removal; outdoor work.
• Maintain pump inspection records, safety manuals, duty logs, electrical schematics, and replace lights.
• Commit to keeping the store running and come in as needed; interact with the public with excellent service.
• Assist clerks or managers as needed.

As a Store Maintenance Member, You Will

• be responsible for customer service, mechanical operation, repairs, housekeeping inside and outside the store, store security, and assisting store cashiers whenever possible.
• repair, grease, clean, and test fuel pumps, and associated equipment including refrigeration, HVAC systems, and control systems. Practice safe procedures in repairs and tool handling while wearing protective clothing and other necessary personal protective equipment.
• clean and paint buildings, sidewalks, fuel islands, etc. and handle building and property upkeep to include landscaping and trash and snow removal. You are exposed to cold and other outdoor weather conditions.
• maintain use or repair books, safety manuals, duty logs, pump inspections, and electrical schematics, and maintain lights to included lamp and ballast replacement.
• commit to keep the store running and come in as needed, interact with the public providing exceptional customer service.
• assist clerks or managers as needed.
