Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is looking for a full-time Plumber - Store Maintenance Technician to service our retail store sites. The role runs Mon - Fri 7:30 am - 4 pm with on-call time. Plumbing experience is required, and certification is a plus.

Prior retail or convenience-store plumbing maintenance is ideal. Pay will be based on experience and location in the United States. The position emphasizes regular maintenance, fixture installation, and system inspections across multiple store locations,

Qualifications

• Plumbing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance of plumbing at UDF retail store sites
• Install basic plumbing fixtures
• Inspect plumbing for repairs or replacements
• Repair water line systems as needed
• Coordinate with contractors on plumbing issues
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations for plumbing systems
• Communicate with store associates and supervisors
• Maintain a work log via phone and document daily progress
• Provide information to department leadership daily
• Position reports to department Director

Responsibilities for this position include, but is not limited to:

• Carry out regular maintenance of plumbing at UDF retail store sites


• Perform installation of basic plumbing fixtures


• Inspect previously installed plumbing for repair / replacement scenarios


• Perform any necessary repairs to previously installed water line systems


• Collaborate with and manage plumbing issues with hired out general contractors


• Keep up to date with current safety regulations and requirements for the various plumbing systems a company installs and maintains


• Communicate well with UDF store associates and operational supervisors to their satisfaction


• Communicate well with team members and fellow employees


• Manage a work log via phone technology


• Keep detailed reports via work notes of work done at various job sites


• Provide information to department leadership daily.
