Qualifications

A Day in the Life

Use your strong troubleshooting skills as a plumber to diagnose plumbing system failures—such as system leaks and stoppages—and repair various plumbing components on a variety of challenging jobs, such as:

• Water closets
• Sanitation systems
• Fire sprinkler piping systems
• Storm drainage systems
• Domestic water heating systems
• Hydronic systems

Requirements

• Plumbing Journeyman license (Master’s license preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a plumber with troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing commercial plumbing systems
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
