Job summary

Malone Home Center, a Nation’s Best Holdings, LLC company, is seeking a Store Manager for our Greenville, KY location. The role oversees daily store operations, staff leadership, customer service, inventory, merchandizing, and financial performance to drive profitability.

The candidate should have 2+ years of supervisory retail experience, preferably in lumber, with flexibility for evenings and weekends, and the ability to lift 25–50 lbs. Local travel for training may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of management or supervisory experience in retail, lumber, or related industry.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Preferred hardware store and/or lumber experience.
• Willingness to travel 3–4 times per year for corporate events and trainings.
• Physical ability to lift 25–50 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations to ensure smooth functioning, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead and develop staff; manage scheduling, training, and performance feedback.
• Oversee inventory control, receiving, stocking and merchandising to drive sales and reduce waste.
• Manage store budgets, payroll, cash handling, and financial reporting with leadership support.
• Collaborate with regional leadership on goals, costs, and strategic initiatives.
