Job summary

TJ Maxx in New Orleans is hiring for a Store Loss Prevention role. You’ll perform daily loss-prevention duties, support safety programs, and work with store management to deter theft. Strong communication and a flexible schedule are important as you participate in investigations and shrink-reduction efforts.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in retail or security, basic computer skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe store environment while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with sound judgment.
• Basic computer literacy for store operations.
• Good time-management to handle multiple tasks.
• Investigative/analytical thinking for shrink control.
• Ability to adapt to changes and flexible scheduling.
• 0–2 years retail or security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily tasks for store loss prevention and safety programs.
• Maintain positive relationships with Store Management.
• Communicate with Associates on damage and shrink initiatives.
• Identify and resolve internal and external theft.
• Participate in investigations and surveillance as needed.
• Coordinate shrink-related activities with Store Management.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies and procedures.
