Job summary

Costellos Ace is seeking a Store Manager In Training (SMIT) to learn and execute the core duties of a store manager. This role prepares you to manage store operations, drive sales, and lead a team to meet business goals while gaining hands-on experience and leadership development.

You will work closely with the Store Manager, assist in opening/closing, training staff, analyzing sales, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing store operations effectively.
• Experience in training and developing staff to enhance team performance and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Learn and apply strategies to drive sales and increase profitability.
• Support the Store Manager in maintaining inventory levels and ensuring product availability.
• Participate in training programs to develop skills in customer service, merchandising, and team leadership.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer inquiries and issues.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and developing store staff to enhance team performance.
• Analyze sales reports and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Work closely with the Store Manager to develop and execute promotional strategies.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment to enhance the shopping experience for customers.
