Nouria Energy Corporation is seeking a Management Trainee to join our family-owned wholesale/retail operation. You will participate in training experiences, learn store leadership, people and merchandising management, and assist the Store Manager in daily shift operations.

Qualifications

• 1 year of supervisory experience in convenience store, retail, fast food, or restaurant operations
• Ability to effectively perform in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, resourceful, creative, organized
• Outgoing personality and approachable demeanor
• Effective communication across all levels of the organization
• Ability to cover nights, weekends, and/or holidays
• Lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Certification testing as needed
• Commitment to superior customer experiences and excellent service

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in daily shift management and store operations
• Maintain daily and shift sales and provide floor coverage
• Train Sales Associates and supervise POS
• Support security and loss prevention in store
• Maintain store standards and merchandising
• Stock shelves and refrigerated coolers
• Assist in controlling shrink and cash handling within targets
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Shadow manager in day-to-day operations
• Provide the best customer experience and promote specials
• Oversee safety, store environment, and incident reporting
• Participate in safety orientation for new staff
• Inspect stores for hazards and initiate corrective actions
