Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking candidates for an Assistant Manager in Training in Rhode Island. You will assist the store manager in daily sales, appearance and operations, while developing into a management role at a future location.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. You will supervise store teams, participate in recruiting and training, ensure safety compliance, manage scheduling and payroll, and support performance evaluations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program.
• Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager in sales, appearance and operations of store.
• Supervise professional and retail operations of store and team members.
• Train new team members and evaluate performance; participate in pay decisions.
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing and selecting qualified team members.
• Support safety, scheduling, payroll and timekeeping systems at store level.
• Make sales calls and participate in customer outreach.
• Monitor KPIs and review monthly P&L with store manager.
