Qualifications

• Must read and interpret diagrams, safety rules, and procedures.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposits.
• Familiarity with IBM cash register functions and reporting.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Understanding cash, safety, and security policies.
• Experience in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes with legal compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to solve problems and adapt to varying situations; bilingual Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist store merchandising and stocking to established standards.
• Assist in inventory management including damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Model company procedures and policies.
• Participate in opening and closing store activities.
• Ensure safe deposit of funds and cash accountability.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked stores and safe environment.
• Operate store in the store manager’s absence.
• Review operating statements for trends and opportunities; manage expenses and inventory turns.
• Complete all paperwork and documentation on time.
