Job summary

Hibbett I City Gear in Mansura, LA is seeking a Manager in Training to assist the Store Manager with day-to-day operations, merchandising, restocking, and guest service. You will learn each product area and support promotions to drive store goals.

In this role you may supervise in the Store Manager’s absence, train staff, and ensure accurate inventory and strong customer service. Prior retail or footwear experience and excellent communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working in retail, preferably footwear or athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience is typical.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a team.
• Self-starter with initiative and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling store assets and operations.
• Plan and execute selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Act as store leader in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Guide employees and customers across departments as needed.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to support profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities are met.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by Hibbett I City Gear.
• Uphold company policies and procedures across manuals and memos.
