Job summary

Kirkland's, Inc. is seeking a Senior Assistant Manager to support and execute all aspects of operations and merchandising in the assigned store. The role focuses on coaching the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, driving profitable sales, and protecting company assets.

The Senior Assistant Manager is prepared to transition to Store Manager within 12 months where possible. They will lead customer service, promotions, and staffing, while maintaining brand standards and coordinating

Qualifications

College preferred or 1-3 years of experience in a retail environment.
Ability to relocate for a Store Manager position preferred.
Energetic, results oriented and competitive with a drive to succeed.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.
Ability to work 40 hours per week, based upon the business needs of the district or area.
Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
A valid driver’s license.
Ability to handle and transport company funds to the bank location designated by Kirkland’s.
