Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. You will lead the team in servicing customers, manage staffing for peak hours, and assist in hiring and coaching efforts.

Ideal candidates have Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, and RSS Certification. Bilingual abilities are encouraged, with a preference for Spanish.

Qualifications

• Fluency in multiple languages is a plus (Spanish highly desired).
• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the showroom and execute customer service programs.
• Ensure adequate staffing at peak hours and support hiring and interviewing processes.
• Coach and mentor team members, set goals, and track performance.
• Process returns, exchanges, and refunds accurately and in line with policy.
• Oversee store opening/closing duties, money handling, and security procedures.
