Job summary

Walmart seeks a store leader in Lancaster, TX to drive team development, customer service excellence, and financial performance for the designated store area. You will recruit and mentor associates, manage budgets, and implement action plans to meet sales and service goals.

The role emphasizes collaboration, operating with integrity, and applying Open Door policies while delivering EDLP/EDLC principles and community engagement in daily operations.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Experience supervising 5+ direct reports to include performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
• Knowledge of EDLP/EDLC business models and applying them to plans.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and setting clear expectations.
• Drive store financial performance by monitoring P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
• Coordinate activities with key stakeholders to meet customer and business needs and promote continuous learning.
