Job summary

Walmart store leadership opportunity in Lamar, MO to drive operations, associate development and exceptional customer service. Lead hourly associates, set clear expectations, and mentor teams while executing store plans and company standards.

You will oversee budgeting, merchandising and inventory, implement action plans to hit sales and profit goals, and promote a culture of belonging across the workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience plus 1 year supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience plus 1 year supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and firearms training may be required.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores and providing feedback.
• Drives store financial performance by reviewing P&L, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses.
• Oversees merchandising, inventory flow and customer service initiatives to ensure a high-quality experience.
• Promotes a culture of belonging and recruits and develops qualified associates to meet staffing needs.
