Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Dry Ridge, Kentucky location. You will help with daily activities, assist customers, and oversee merchandise flow and store standards.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and store-management experience in retail, grocery, or drugstore environments, with strong communication and a hands-on leadership style.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions and concerns in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling; support loss prevention.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates; maintain safe, clean, and presentable store environment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
