Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Lebanon, KY location. The role involves assisting with daily tasks, organizing merch, and ensuring compliance with policies.

You will help supervise and train store associates, participate in opening and closing procedures, and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Retail store management experience preferred (retail/grocery/drug)
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills
• Experience with payroll, scheduling and cash handling

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions
• Organize, stock merchandise and maintain seasonal areas
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Process corporate directives and store communications
• Maintain fixtures, displays and promotions for storefronts
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom
• Protect company assets including cash
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures
• Help supervise, train and develop store associates
• Foster a positive, safe, respectful environment for customers and staff
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock bathrooms, floors and trash
