Job summary

Savage Retail, operating as Savage X Fenty, is seeking an experienced Retail Assistant Store Manager for the South Shore Plaza location in Braintree, MA. You will report to the Store Manager and partner to drive store performance and develop the team while delivering the brand’s inclusive, innovative retail experience.

You will lead by example on customer engagement, product knowledge, and operations, ensuring a best-in-class shopping environment for VIPs and everyday guests.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years in a high-volume retail environment with 2–3 years of direct leadership experience.
• Flexible and reliable schedule; evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Comfort with ambiguity and taking initiative when opportunities arise.
• Ability to identify, nurture and develop talent in a fast-moving retail environment.
• Self-directed and highly motivated to own tasks and deliver solutions.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Familiar with retail inventory and POS systems.
• Able to multitask, set priorities and work under pressure.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and be mobile throughout shift.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an inclusive store culture reflecting brand values and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Fulfill Manager on Duty responsibilities including opening/closing, deposits, and ensuring a service-focused sales floor.
• Drive KPI targets and budgets by fostering an ownership mindset across the team.
• Maintain safety, security, and store operational standards; identify and address issues.
• Educate customers on fabrics, features, fit, and function of products to enhance sales.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to recruit, hire, onboard and develop store staff to reflect the brand ethos.
• Coach and develop team to deliver an exceptional guest experience for all customers and VIPs.
• Develop and enforce product handling, storage, receiving, inventory, and shipping processes.
• Oversee daily operations, financial targets, and policy adherence; support omni-channel customer service strategy.
• Oversee in-store technology upkeep and utilization by the team.
• Assist in training and delegation to empower Store Associates.
• Contribute feedback up the chain to continuously improve the business.
• Uphold visual merchandising and styling standards and maintain store cleanliness and organization.
