Job summary

Skechers is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Management Team in all aspects of store operations, lead a team, and ensure seamless customer service delivery. You will manage inventory, enhance visual merchandising, and execute strategic sales initiatives to contribute to profitability and store success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Retail, restaurant, or hospitality leadership experience is preferred but not required.
• Sales skills to drive revenue growth and meet targets.
• Excellent communication skills in written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age at time of application.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• Experience in sales management, delivering results, and meeting targets.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales management goals and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Visual Merchandising: Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers' standards for style and innovation.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, restock, and organize the sales floor for a seamless shopping experience.
• Operations Management: Oversee scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and store systems; assist with lifting up to 50 lbs when needed.
• Sales Management: Drive revenue growth by implementing strategies and exceeding sales goals.
• Problem-Solving: Address operational challenges and customer concerns to maintain satisfaction.
