Job summary

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees and ensure staffing.
• Train employees; conduct performance evaluations and counseling.
• Advise on pay rates and advancement opportunities.
• Communicate performance and safety expectations; coordinate meetings.
• Open/close the store as required; ensure proper staffing daily.
• Evaluate operating statements for trends, profitability and shrink.
• Manage stock targets and inventory planning weekly.
• Staging, stocking and storage of merchandise per processes.
• Present merchandise according to standards; handle pricing and signage.
• Maintain accurate inventory and cash controls; ensure security.
• Provide superior customer service leadership; foster a safe environment.
• Keep store clean, organized and well-equipped for tasks.
• Follow SOPs and company communications; complete paperwork on deadlines.
