Job summary

TitleMax in Montgomery, AL is hiring an Assistant Store Manager. You will support customers with financial needs, drive account management, and lead store operations to deliver strong results.

We offer comprehensive training, e-learning, cross-brand mobility across 11 brands, and a robust benefits package including health, retirement, and PTO. This full-time role requires in-person availability, including weekends, with a 40-hour minimum.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
• At least 3 months of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with phone, POS system, and Microsoft Office.
• Must be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama).
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle.
• Background check required.
• Able to meet physical demands of the role.

Responsibilities

• Maximize customer success by offering financial services to fit their needs.
• Assess risk of financial transactions and process loan/pawn applications.
• Complete daily call campaigns to market services and build relationships.
• Oversee account management and recovery, with a focus on customer service.
• Maintain POS system data accuracy and integrity.
• Provide coaching to Customer Service Representatives as needed.
• Perform on-site tasks and community marketing as required.
• Meet performance standards through partnerships and referrals.
• Maintain store opening/closing procedures and vault control.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and laws.
