Kj’s Market is seeking a seasoned Store Manager to lead store operations in a fast-paced, family-owned grocery environment. You will drive merchandising initiatives, weekly sales themes, and in-stock conditions while ensuring excellent customer service and budgeted results.

• Bachelor's degree and 3-4 years progressive supermarket management experience.
• Ability to forecast staffing needs and recruit/train.

Responsibilities

• Implements and maintains an in-store sales-building culture with merchandising programs and weekly sales plans in each department.
• Provides for customer satisfaction, courtesy and service with emphasis on front-end fast service.
• Accountable for achieving budgeted financial results.
• Protects company assets: merchandise, cash, facilities and equipment; conducts weekly audits.
• Controls store expenses and wage percent to meet budgeted targets.
• Responsible for staffing, forecasting, recruitment and training for store; develops hi-potential staff.
• Ensures performance expectations are understood and reviewed with staff; conducts regular performance reviews.
• Maintains store condition awareness through frequent store walks.
• Trains and develops store management to support sustained growth.
• Ensures sanitation and food safety standards are maintained.
