Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead all store operations, drive sales, and manage a team of associates in a fast-paced retail environment in Chicago, IL. You will recruit, train and coach staff, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain store standards while controlling expenses.

The role requires 5+ years of store management experience, fluency in English, and willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Store management experience in a retail environment.
• Must maintain a high level of Customer service.
• Must demonstrate ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to train, coach and develop Associates at all levels.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of Store operations to meet Company standards.
• Schedule Associates to meet business objectives.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop Assistant Managers, Area Supervisors and non-exempt Associates.
• Control payroll hours and other expenses as per budget.
• Maintain a safe, clean and easy-to-shop environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service and model Ross brand values.
